I started Hirably because I've watched Nigerians hire on blind faith for too long.

A family hands their home, their children and their car keys to someone they barely know. A growing business brings someone into its team, gives them access to customers, money, systems, assets or sensitive information — often based on a CV, a few references and a good feeling.

When it goes wrong, it can go wrong badly and there is often very little verified information to fall back on.

I've also been on the other side, watching honest, hardworking people lose opportunities because there was no fair way to prove who they were. No verified identity. No confirmed address. No one who could vouch for them in a way an employer could trust.

There had to be a better way.

Hirably is that better way.

We verify a person's identity. We physically verify the residential address they provide. We speak to their guarantors and, where requested, their previous employers.

We don't give verdicts and we don't score people.

We hand you the verified facts, in plain language, so you can make your own decision with your eyes open.
